Positive 02/26/2009 Joyce's home has become my home away from home! She and Molly and Woody (the dogs!) are one of the things I most look forward to when I visit Seattle -- which is quite often. I attend frequent courses and workshops in the Wallingford area, and it is wonderful to have a friendly, comfortable, welcoming place to stay. Joyce knows all the cool, fun things happening around town, the best places to go, and is very helpful in many ways. I had an amazing time staying for two weeks at the Seattle Urban Cottage. Wallingford is a fantastic suburb in Seattle. I was over from New Zealand studying for work in the U District and the buses left from not even one minute walk from the house. Joyce was a terrific host and made me feel more than welcome. I LOVE THIS PLACE!! First, the location is great...central to everything we wanted to do in and around Seattle. There is a grocery, a couple of parks, a zoo (!) and it is near the Fremont Arts district. The apartment itself was way more than i expected. I was there in July with my hubby and 4 kids. We all were very comfortable, beds for all, and there was plenty of room. We cooked in almost all of our meals, and there was enough table space for all of us. The street location was quiet, and we never had any sort of problem parking. The apartment was very tastefully decorated, and the gardens were really lovely. Joyce (innkeeper extraordinaire) was so friendly and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back in a heartbeat. This is a really great value!!! Kathy Kraemer, Overland Park, KS
